I have the exact same issue as @alipail53

with a Omen25 just out of warranty period going dead after bios update.

Will other users reporting this issue, and there are quite a few also be receiving PM from HP support soon?

@Eirikur tried to PM you, but I don't think it's possible. I your PC might actually not be out of warranty, since I have a sneaking suspicion that you're from somewhere cold. If I'm right, you probably still have another year left of your warranty due to non-US consumer protection. I was going to pay for a motherboard replacement, but I found out there's a 2 year warranty on everything, even if the store you bought it from was bought out.
