Pavilion 590
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I helped an relative the other day to do some maintenace on his machine.

I chose to update his bios, since hp update utility told me to.

After this the machine does not boot up.

The bios is F.31 for motherboard 8433.

I looked around for the problem and found
https://support.hp.com/za-en/document/c06468880

it says that it´s bad to flash the bios before the graphic card is updated..however, it does not really say how to fix it.
I have tried to download an older bios and create an usb and flash the system down to an older version. But it does not work. I press the windowsbutton and the b button at the same time. It does start to beep and flash on the power button, but it just stands there. I have given it an hour to finish the flash, but it does not seem to do anything.

The warranty is not valid.

Any ideas?

The bios is f.41, not f.31..
