When I shut down my computer , the screen shows that it is shutting down. When I try to turn it on, the computer shows that it is on, however the screen stays black when I hit a key to activate it.
I then have to hold on button in for 10 seconds to shut it off, wait 10 seconds and push button in again to start up.
Is this something that HP can fix ? , I cannot reach anyone by phone

Hi
2 things that can cause a delayed start
1 Flat CMOS/RTC battery, a 2 dollar home fix.
2 BIOS corrupted, home fix or repair shop.
So....
