This is very strange. I have a 2018 HP budget HP all in one with an AMD A9 CPU, 8Gb RAM. When I install a Samsung EVO 860 SSD Sata type 250Gb or 500Gb is will not boot but hangs on HP logo. I am unable to enter the BIOS. F10 and F2 loads a basic info screen and ignores all key presses thereafter.
If I plug the original mechanic drive back in or another mechanical drive or another brand SSD then it’s fine. Is there a fix for this please? Thank you
Model No: HP 24 e080na

What do you have on SSD, is it a bootable drive ?

Sorry for delay. There was nothing on the discs, they were both blank. I was trying to install Windows 10 but the computer did not respond with Samsung EVO 860s plugged in. I decided to fit a different brand which worked. I reckon there’s a BIOS issue causing that issue.
