I was just typing when all of a sudden the whole thing shut off I tried for 30 minutes figuring out what happened and hope that it would turn on again.

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Try unplugging your PC from AC power Depress the power switch for about 15 seconds.
Reconnect the PC to AC power then try to start the PC again.
Your PC is slightly over one year old. Components fail.
It is tough to say what may have failed at this time if you cannot achieve a POST (Power On Self Test).
Could be:
Power Supply
Motherboard (MB)
Any internal component connected to the MB including peripheral devices connected to the PC.
A short in a connected component.
Try a POST with only keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
Regards
