I bought an AMD Ryzen 7 2700, 8 core, 16 Thread processor, which is in the list of processors for upgrade to Windows 11.
I have tried to install the CPU, but the motherboard will not recognized this CPU, I can't even see the BIOS screen. I reinstalled the original CPU, and PC boots without any issues. What do I need to do in order for this Motherboard recognize this CPU. Some people have told me to update the BIOS, but I cannot find the latest BIOS update for this specific motherboard. Request your assistant. Thanks.

Hi:
According to the motherboard specs, the processor you installed should be supported.
HP Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, Sunflower | HP® Customer Support
That processor requires a PCIe x16 graphics card to be installed in order to work.
It will not work with the onboard Radeon graphics.
See the graphics capability specs.
Did you install a supported graphics card?
The product specs for your PC indicate that it only has the onboard AMD graphics.
If you have not, that would the reason the processor isn't working.
HP Pavilion 590-p0076 Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
This is the latest BIOS update HP has for your PC for the Sunflower motherboard SSID 8433.

You're very welcome.
Your PC has a 310W power supply according to the specs, so all you need to do is to install a video card that works with that power supply.
You don't need to spend a lot of money.
You might want to go with a Nvidia GT1030 or GTX1050ti.

You're very welcome.
Adding a graphics card should fix the problem.
If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.
You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

Hi Paul, Just to let you know that I have installed an MSI Nvidia GeForce 210 in my PC. It is working perfectly as of today. I just finished installing Windows 11 22H2. Thanks very much for your help and advice.
