@asmita6658
I already checked that but the image does not load on that page. Plus when I visit the product page at HP it shows me a page to motherboard Thimphu, so I am confused if the motherboard is Thimphu or Thimphu-K. However, for both I am unable to find an image and manual on HP's site.
Additionally, you did not answer the firts part of my questions:
I have a connector labelled P4 free, is it a power connector for 3.5/2.5 inch form factor HDD/SSD power connector? I am inclied on adding a 2.5 inch SSD, and for that I remember seeing white and blue SATA slots on motherboard. Do colors signify something?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

There is a program called "hard disk sentinel" that you can use to check on the health of your hard drive. The program will even estimate the number of hours it has left before failure. If it is making mechanical noises I would move the data and change the drive as soon as possible.
You can download the free trial program here:
I use it all the time and it is safe....

I would expect the interface(s) required for your computer to be standard, and compatible with any modern hard drive. Under that assumption, this drive would work:

SATA is the name of the interface of every computer I know anything about. This is the same interface for most any hard drive made in recent years. That said, while OWC's target customer is Mac owners, they sell to many PC owners as well. I have the utmost faith in them, and as such, if you contact them, I am quite certain they would be able to tell you exactly what you need, whereas you may need some form of bracket or adapter to put a 2.5" drive into a desktop PC, which they also sell. They also used to sell bundled deals including software which would transfer all your data. I didn't see any of those bundles looking briefly. I have every confidence, however, that they could either sell you or tell you what software you could use.
