Cracks on the laptop

This laptop has been with me for about 4 years now.  It has formed several cracks next to the power button near the left hinge.  Earlier when I saw the first crack, I thought it was due to the fact that I forget that I have left laptop on charge overnight but even after letting go of that practice several more cracks appeared over the period of next few days. One of cousins glued the cracks using cracks for me but the next week only another crack appeared. Now whenever I close the screen the area around the crack lifts up making a huge bump on the surface.  Earlier before this one of th screws in the bottom fell out but it was immediately replaced but since that time there was no hp store nearby I had to get it done locally. The crack takes a huge part around the keyboard area. Above I have attached the picture of the crack.

This Laptop is no longer under warranty.  Can anyone help me through this problem and how it can be fixed so that my laptop becomes as good as new. It disheartens me to see my laptop like this and more disheartened by the fact this issue can be seen in several of my friends' laptops too...and truly speaking almost all the electronic devices in my house and college are from this brand and this was practically unexpected to see cracks in my laptop.

I would definitely love if any one of you could me of my assistance and help me solve this problem.
