OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-0000i RCTO Base Models (LaprasI)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased an Omen 25L desktop and it was delivered in January.  It came with Windows 11 and I downgraded it to Windows 10.  When I go to the HP website to get my drivers, the HP support site asks for my serial which I put in, then it says "there are no drivers for my operating system."

 

There are no options to choose another operating system.

I downloaded the HP Support Assistant and it found a few, but I still have several unidentified hardware modules and Support Assistant reports 0 downloads found.

 

How can I find the drivers for my system?  Not sure if it is safe to paste my serial number here...

 

Most notably I have no audio now.

 

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Sorry that the audio driver didn't work for you.

 

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try the W11 audio driver and if it doesn't install, manually browse to the driver folder that was created.

I used the free 7-Zip file utility to extract the driver exe file into its folder and I do see a setup information file that provides driver support for that ID:

Hi:

 

According to the driver support page for your PC it is only supported by HP for W11.

You are on your own to find W10 drivers for it.

 

Several of those devices in your screenshot would be installed by the chipset driver.

 

If your PC has an Intel 12th gen core processor, see if this chipset driver works for you:

If you post the hardware ID's for any remaining devices that need drivers, I will see what drivers I can find for them.

See if this W10 audio driver works for you.

 

Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

You may have to manually browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file, because it is only the Intel portion of the Realtek audio driver that needs to be installed.

 

Network Controller:

You may need the Bluetooth driver too...

The Base System Dev needs this driver:

 

Intel® GNA Scoring Accelerator Driver for Windows® 10 64-bit and Windows 11* for Intel® NUC Products

 

There is no exe file for this driver so, download & unzip it to its driver folder.

 

Go to the device manager, click on the Base System Device needing the driver.

 

Click on the driver tab, click on Update Driver.

 

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the unzipped driver folder.

 

Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver will install.

 

The above approach would be the same method you would use if the audio driver doesn't install the Multimedia Audio Controller.

 

You would browse to: C:\SWSetup\sp112847.

It looks like the audio driver is not working, the silent installer launches but doesn't seem to do anything.  I tried manually running it as well, but no change.

I also tried manually updating the driver in Device Manager and pointing it to the swsetup\SP112847 folder, but it can't find anything in there.

 

The other drivers you provided worked great!

 

Do you have another audio driver I could try?  I'm also going to check the Realtek website, maybe they have a universal installer I can try.

Thanks again so much for your help.  That last link worked great, I didn't have to extract it, I simply ran the installer and it all worked as it should.  I finally have audio again lol.

 

I do wish the HP support site simply gave me the links, even if they were for windows 11 drivers.
