I have a Victus 15L desktop, model TG02-0013w, using the onboard graphics via HDMI, it is running Windows 11.
I saw a bios update in HP SUpport Assistant, for updating to F25 bios. After I did the update it said to reboot. After reboot there's no display output at all, screen remains blank, no bios messages, nothing.
I've tried rebooting ,holding down power button, disconnect and replace all cords, replace video cable. Finally I opened up the case and removed CMOS battery for 5min to try to reset bios.
Nothing has worked. I can see and hear the fans power up, the light on case comes on, there is no display at all.
Please help, my PC is now unusable.

Greetings @tehdude
Welcome back to the Forum.
It looks like the F.25 BIOS update had a problem. I can't say if the BIOS update via HPSA was corrupted or something else is going on.
You will have to attempt a BIOS recovery outside of the operating system using a HP BIOS Recovery USB flash drive.
You'll need the F.25 update available at this Link.
Watch this HP video on how to recover the BIOS using a USB flash drive with the F.25 BIOS update per above at this Link.

Thank you so much for the quick reply.
Can you please confirm how to get to the bios update? I have tried hitting Esc/F2/F10/del keys and there is nothing on the screen at all. before this I used to see a message 'press Esc for HP diagnostics' when booting up, now the monitor stays blank and there doesn't seem to be a video signal.
the 2nd video you linked - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcBMa5q_9UI
is very confusing. it creates a bios recovery key but then the update process is done via network donwload. also it shows a laptop not desktop.
I also found this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3932413-2337994-16
can you tell me if my PC has HP StureStart? do I need to use the USB key and then hold Win+B keys when booting up? the link above also refers to laptos and not desktops, and it says it wont work with SureStart.
I'd really appreciate some help here as the above links all say different things.

Greetings @tehdude
Sorry to see the video did not help. The video is confusing.
I don't know if your PC supports ShureStart. I think ShureStart applies to HP business class PCs.
Try this. Insert the USB BIOS recovery stick in a USB drive on your PC when the PC is off.
Start the PC and do nothing. The USB BIOS recovery process may start without user intervention if the recovery stick is good and your can power on.
Sadly, you may need HP service to: flash the BIOS or replace the MB if you cannot recover the BIOS. Or find a local PC Tech who can do this.
Your PC is not dead. A local PC tech can flash the BIOS using an AMI Firmware Update Utility and a Hiren's USB rescue stick.

As this is not a business class PC, I don't think it has Sure Start. but maybe it has fastboot or some other things enabled.
the HP support manuals for this PC mention nothing about bios update, and there is no info about the motherboard which is Erica8 but there is no diagram from HP.
does the link I paste above apply to desktops? it says to hold Win+B and then power but when I try that it just powers on and nothing is shown.
I am concerned there is no video output at all. the monitor even stays in powersave mode. w.r.t above I can try to use Hiren Boot cd myself but I am afraid of how to even boot from USB if nothing is shown.

I made a bios update USB key and tried to boot from it, there is nothing on screen. please remember I am using the onboard GPU as I don't have dedicated GPU in this. not sure if this matters but it was working fine before bios update this morning.
Local PC tech will charge almost $100 with no guarantees, I don''t have that. and I don't have warranty left on this either, the only option left is this support forum. any other advice? I still am not sure whether the advice on the other pages (like holding win+B) applies to desktops?

Greetings
All components connected to the MB will not work if the BIOS is cooked. The MB is getting power but knows not, what to do with the power because the BIOS is corrupted due to a failed BIOS update.
I am very sorry but I've got nothing else to suggest.
The HP USB BIOS Recovery stick is supposed to work when the BIOS gets corrupted.
Your PC is a paper weight if you don't try a local PC Tech.

Greetings @tehdude
I reread your initial Forum post.
I missed the "no video output" symptom after the BIOS update. Chances are you also had no USB function after the BIOS update.
Having no video and no operable USB ports would be a deal breaker in terms of recovering the BIOS under normal circumstances.
I would have initially suggested a local PC Tech.
I don't know if a prior hardware problem is a factor unless you were having problems before you did the BIOS update.
