HP Victus Upgrade

Hello Community, I was looking forward to upgrading from my victus and it has the 6400 and r5 5600g, and I BELIEVE an 500w psu, from youtube videos I have seen it is possible to upgrade to a rx 6700xt! please respond and help out I do not know if i can or not. I will take reccomendations as well!

You could indeed install an RX 6700 XT, but that would require a power supply upgrade to a 650-watt unit.

Your Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0xxx (please verify) is fitted with an HP Erica8 motherboard (SSID: 89D8) with the AMD B550A chipset with p/n: N00595-606 "Motherboard ERICA8 AMD CEZANNE PROM WIN" and a 500-watt power supply with p/n: L89233-001 "SKO-PSU 500W MT WS20 EPA90" -please verify as well.

Just came across new information that you may be interested in: the 650-watt power supply I mentioned in an earlier Forum discussion (referenced in my previous response) with p/n: L36049-003, has been confirmed by this User to be compatible in their Victus desktop:

This power supply can be purchased online, such as via eBay.
