I am really struggling to do this Upgrade correctly but the Screws in question are proving to be elusive.
The Inserts for the Screws are #25 and # 26 for Adapter 131703.
If I knew what size / description they are, I'd order them ASAP.
Is there a Forum Member that has encountered this and can help me?#25 and #26 are the issue.

Thank you for our research on my behalf.
Please review the photo I included.
The Screws need to fit the Inserts on the Hp Elite 8300 USDT Motherboard.
There are two types of Inserts depicted on the included photo.
The Inserts numbered H25 and H26 are the ones that need the Screws.
From the diagram included with the Ad, one cannot tell which Inserts the Screws work with.
The Ad indicates G2 and G3 whatever, if it really means H2 or H3 Screws, they are way too large,
I'll give them a try, but I have my doubts that they will work.
Please continue to research this need as I'm so close to finishing this upgrade, I'm hoping two Screws doesn't stop it.

I see, you likely need more than one size. What helped me is to consider buying a universal motherboard/PC screw set. Nicely organized, reasonable size selection and more than you'll probably ever need -it will last for a long time, likely to be passed on to your children and grandchildren.
[EDIT:] This $5.99 set will meet your needs: Amazon.com: QTEATAK 300Pcs Black Laptop Notebook Computer Replacement Screws Kit for Lenovo Toshiba ....
Hope this helps.

I have taken a photo of the three Screw sizes I have available right now.
From top to bottom they are: H1, H2 and H3 sizes.
The H1 size "does" fit the Inserts: H25 and H26.
It does not have a "head" large enough to snug the mSATA Board down.
Please keep up your efforts on my behalf if you have the time.

Yes, finding the right screws for an HP Compaq Elite 8300 USDT is somewhat challenging. I should know, so to speak, because this particular legacy HP desktop was one of my Upgrade Projects (see thread here: Solved: Upgrading HP Compaq Elite 8300 USDT - HP Support Community - 811882).
Come to think of it, in addition to the aforementioned screw kit, I also ordered M1.6 (4mm length) screws separately when I worked on this project: -I'm pretty sure I needed this tiny size for my PCIe X1, MXM and WLAN cards.

The correct screw appears to be 2mm P1 Phillips Headed.
I am unable to find them through HP as they only want to sell me a new PC, not a Part.
The Internet has also been a disappointment.
P1 appears to be a code word to sell the searcher a Screw Driver.
I need the Screws not the Tools.
If you know of a way to allow me to Order and Purchase the Screw(s) listed above, please tell me.
The following video documents the Screw and the Standoff:

As I mentioned earlier, quote: "Come to think of it, in addition to the aforementioned screw kit, I also ordered M1.6 (4mm length) screws separately when I worked on this project: -I'm pretty sure I needed this tiny size for my PCIe X1, MXM and WLAN cards." The ones I got had hex sockets, but that was not an issue.
Anyway, to the best of my knowledge/experience, the M1.6 x 4 mm is the correct size.
This M1.6 x 4mm (or 3mm) is the correct size as confirmed here, for example: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Motherboard-screws-for-mSATA-so... ("Elsewhere in this forum, I've found reference to the screw I'm looking for. It's the same one used in the PCI express minicard slot used for the WiFi board. The expert source here described the flat head machine screw as a size M1.6. I've ordered an M1.6 x 3mm from China.").
And here: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2267498-nvme-pcie-m-2-screws ("I know the HP Z240 workstations use an M1.6 screw, NOT an M2 screw as they are too wide. I can personally attest to this as I had to buy a pack of M1.6 screws to install an NVMe SSD in mine.").
And here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Business-PCs-Workstations-and-Point-of-Sale-Systems/Does-any-one-know-... ("I also measured the HP stand off screw which measures 1.57mm (m1.6)").
As the first person mentioned, he/she/gender-neutral ordered them "from China". And so did I. AliExpress all the way for most of my computer bits & parts orders. Very satisfied with the quality of the products I have ordered and reliability.
Anyway, my bad, I digress.
Here's one of many links to get these screws: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32968097507.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.65c35039wSGnwO&algo_pvid=.... Make sure you select size: M1.6 (50pcs) and length 4mm ($1.19). Also, do not pick the free shipping option (click on "More options"), but rather pay a little more ($1.99) for "Tracking Available" through AliExpress Standard Shipping.

I did as you suggested.
I strongly doubt if I will receive what I believe I ordered after using their Site.
May 26th., is a long way off.
I'll check back in "if" they arrive.
Best regards,
Mike Lynch
PS I need you to answer the following question for me please:
Did you view the video that I posted to actually see the Screw I need, the one with the WIDE screw head?

My customer satisfaction rating with regards to AliExpress -which is a huge cooperative of individual manufacturers and Sellers -cutting out all the resellers in the middle, is 99.3% over hundreds of transactions spread out over several years. Not bad. Comparable with Amazon.
Once the Seller ships your order, look out for the 30-digit (not unlike an USPS tracking number) OR the LY[9 numbers]CN tracking number format. Go to Welcome | USPS and track your package. After a week of shipping, you will be able not only to track your package, but also to request email updates ("Get Updates" --> "Email Updates") through USPS. That's how I do it each and every time.
By all means, please follow up!
