Hi Yusif415
Your PC was introduced by HP in 2009. Eight years of reliable service is very good.
There is usually no quick fix for this problem. Your PC is not Posting and you have not stated if you are getting any error messages to help with a diagnosis. Have you checked/reseated all motherboard connections?
You have to troubleshoot components by swapping in known good components one at a time to find the fault.
Possible failure points are:
1. Power supply (not enough power to initialize the system),
2. Motherboard or any integrated component on the motherboard (voltage regulators, CPU)
3. RAM,
4. Graphics
5. An attached device short (CD/DVD drive, card reader, HDD).
I would take your system to a local PC technician unless you are comfortable working inside the chassis and have replacement parts.

Does it matter if the sata plugs are in different spots like p7 or p5? and if I unplug everything but the cpu, fans and power supply I get no error code whats wrong? and I know the board is getting power because I can hear things happening inside

Hi
The boot HDD/SSD should be on SATA0, CD/DVD on SATA1.
Yes. you are getting power but the power supply may be failing.
I usually start troubleshooting by swapping in a known good power supply.
Your PC is around eight years old. Components failure increases as time goes by.
No error codes means the motherboard may have failed or the power supply is failing.

Hi Yusif415
You would have to try a good power supply. Then try each stick of RAM in each RAM slot or try good replacement RAM. Then try a discrete graphics card or try onboard graphics if you are using a discrete graphics card. Then remove the CPU and swap in a known good CPU.
It sounds like you already disconnected motherboard components such as the HDD and RAM but cannot get any beep codes. You should get a "System disk error message" or no RAM installed message if the PS and motherboard are good.
It is a process of elimination until you find the bad component. It is time consuming and expensive if you don't have replacement components.
It is cheaper to take the PC to a reputable, local PC technician. A good tech will find the bad component.

Hey its been a while and I havent really done anything with my old still broken pc yet but now I was thinking of reparing it so I thought I should buy a new mother board and power supply and see if it works but before I do that do you think it is a good idea before I waste my time?
