Hey i have a 8860 (SMVB) motherboard and im curious about how much ram i can get for it and the per slot ram i can get as well as where and what ram i can get for it.

  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
    note:
    32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
  • Supports up to 32 GB (unbuffered) with two 16 GB DIMMs on 64-bit systems

Yea that is the one im not to good with stuff thats not the pure basic's am i getting this right that i have 2 slots that can have 16 gbs each?

yes exactly
you can install two 16gb modules in order to obtain 32 gb
but do not make an unnecessary purchase, check, very often, we have enough memory with 16 gb
