OMEN HP Desktop PC - 880-112na Graphics card update

HI All I'm keen on upgrading my 1070 card in my OMEN HP Desktop PC - 880-112na to a MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING X 8G LHR Gaming Graphics Card - 8GB GDDR6, 1770MHz, PCI Express Gen 4, 256-bit, 3x DP v 1.4a, HDMI 2.1 (Supports 4K). From what I can see it's compatible with the board but needs a larger power supply. The one currently fitted is a 500W the suggested one for the 3060 Ti is 600W plus it's got a 8-pin x 1 + 6-pin x 1 whereas the 1070 only has a single 8 pin, no idea if there's a spare 6 pin that'll reach? So I've started looking at Power supplies also and like the look of the Corsair RM650 (2021), RM Series, 650 Watt 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (Dual EPS12V Connectors, Low-Noise Operation, Zero RPM Fan Mode, 105°C Capacitors, Modern Standby) Black. 

So I suppose that's two questions, will the card work ok and can the board handle the 650W PS? Many thanks in advance.

Maybe you have already checked, but also pay attention to the dimensions
some people buy a graphics card only to realize that it won't fit
It is almost impossible to tell you, if such graphics card will work with such power supply
If it corresponds, to what is recommended, by the manufacturer of the card whether it is in power, and pci connector required, a priori, it should work!

The existing 1070 is 26.67cm long, the 3060 Ti is 27.8cm. I've just had the sides off an had a look. There's a retaining bracket at the back of the 1070, there's no room for the 3060, with the same bracket (See screenshot of HP video). But if I remove the bracket there's plenty of room. The card will be held at the front and the connections. I've also seen you can buy graphics card mounts so I'd go down that route, I may also see if there's a way to either reverse mount that bracket, it's quite a meaty mount tbh!

must see, the support may not be necessary, I replaced a graphics card, on a different model, but there was a large metal bar

I removed it, and it was not a problem, the card being maintained, by the pci slot, and the rear fixings

what is unfortunate is that I do not have the means, I have the same type of computer, with the gtx 1070, 500w power supply..
Otherwise I would have replaced the graphics card too!
