Hello, I have the same question followed by the post link above,
I have searched the same socket CPU, and I know not only A6-5200 but also AMD Opteron X1150 or Opteron X2170 are the same socket. Just wondering are those can be use for replacement or not?

@Hoya555 , welcome to the forum.
HP has their motherboards made to their specifications. Therefore, they are not necessarily the same as a retail version. The processors that are listed in the Guide have been fully tested to assure that they are compatible with the motherboard. If the processor is not on the list it will most likely NOT be compatible.
