Would like to know if my system can be upgraded on the processor and the video card. I would like to add an additional hard drive and another SSD drive as well. I've already maxed out the memory, but would I have to up the power supply if I add the above-mentioned items and what would the case & motherboard accept?

@Rikerbabe , welcome to the Community.

Here are the Product Specifications for your computer.  If you look at the section titled "Processor upgrade information" there is a list of compatible processor upgrades.  These have all been tested to ensure they are compatible with the motherboard.

The motherboard (Lincs) in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  HP has a 400W (L04618-800) and a 500W (L05757-800) PSU that are compatible with your motherboard.  Here is a Chart that will show you where I got this information.  There is no 500W PSU listed for your model, but all of the lincs motherboards have the same connectors.

There is only "One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD" on your motherboard.  Therefore, you will have to add a standard SATA SSD.  You will have to check to see if there are extra SATA ports on the motherboard.  The same goes for another HDD.

It will depend on the PSU that you buy which video card will work.  The 500W PSU will give you more options.  The specifications don't mention the version of the PCI Express x16 slot.  It should be listed on the motherboard next to the slot.  Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will explain what you have to consider when upgrading the video card.  Once you read it you will be able to determine which cards will work in your case.

Having never had an SSD before on any system I've ever had, I'm at a loss as to what is installed on one. Anyway, would there be a way to install/upgrade the installed SSD with a larger one? How would I go about seeing what's on it and about transferring what's on it to the new one? (Forgot to accept the previous information as accepted...just never got back here to do that...sorry!)

If I forgo the internal installation of any new SSD or ODD, would I still have to upgrade the power supply so the system won't overheat?

for ssd try this

Welcome to Crucial USA

When you buy an SSD in general we deliver software to you, or we tell you how to download it.
this allows you to copy the installed disk in order to copy it later to the new one

you should change the power supply if you install a graphics card that is too powerful
If the power supply is insufficient, either the computer will shut down randomly, or it will not start.

reread the previous subjects, a lot of information has already been indicated to you it seems to me

I'm just trying to make sure that I don't screw anything up...I'll read what you've indicated and also keep my fingers crossed as I do this. Would rather spend the $$$ for a new one, but with the way processors and just about everything else is increasing I will be sticking with the one I have for the moment.

There are numerous videos and guides on the Internet to help you install your SSD.  Just take your time and you will be fine!  If I can do it, so can you. 😉
