I want to upgrade the CPU in my HP Pavilio Elite m9160la to an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650, but i don’t know if it’ll work. The PC uses an Asus Benicia (CPU1) LGA775 Motherboard with BIOS American Megatrends Inc. 5.11, 05/12/2007

I have hp pavilion a6400f desktop upgrade CPU - HP Support Community - 7922476

 

According to the motherboard specs document I attached below, it indicates the motherboard will support the Intel Core 2 Quad (Y) Q9xxx processors, so I assume that includes the Q9650 as well.
