HP Desktop - M01-F0033w

I already upgraded ram from 8GB ----->32 GB DDR4 ( 2x16GB)  And I added a 1TB NVMe SSD

1. Can I upgrade my CPU, and if yes which one is the best option? (Erica2 motherboard)

2. Can I upgrade the GPU as well ? Any recommendations and will i need to upgrade the PSU as well?

If you want to replace/add a graphics card, there are a few things you need to check

for the graphics card, I often recommend the Asus site with filter options

or msi

See if others offer it, price/performance may vary...

If you have the idea to replace more than the graphics card (sometimes no choice, you will have to change the power supply as well) The processor, going from 16 gb of ram to 32 gb for example depending on the age of the computer, this might not be advantageous so rather old, what you change may not be able to be reused, unlike the graphics card..Sometimes, for not that much cost, you could have a much newer, more capable computer.

Hi

You now have a 3200G CPU. HP has validated a 3400G CPU with the factory BIOS but this upgrade would not be cost effective. See PC specs here https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06691431

There is a BIOS update for W10 here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-desktop-pc-m01-f0000a/38096274/model/3...

The "Fixes" don't reference adding additional CPU support.

Your PC has a 180 watt proprietary power supply. A graphics card upgrade would require a power supply upgrade. Not much graphics card upgradability exists using a 180 watt power supply.

The 500 watt power supply part number is L05757-800. This part is not available at the HP Part Store.

You would have to check eBay or Amazon for this component.

THANKS @Bill_To
but you are repeating what i already said, why ?

@db156  although it would be preferable, if you want a graphics card, to replace the power supply, you will find examples here of graphics cards used with the 180 w power supply
but will have to check the requirements of the models found on the net
