I need an SMC.bin file to clear a BIOS setup password on my HP 24-g216 All-in-One.

The BIOS does NOT show a System Disabled code after entering the wrong password.
I own the device but no longer have the receipt because it was purchased years ago.

Please escalate this request to the HP BIOS Security Team so they can generate the SMC.bin file for my serial number.

Thank you.

Here is HP's official policy regarding BIOS passwords:

 

According to the Community's Rules of Participation:

 

4d. No posts shall include instructions/directions intended to bypass or subvert security mechanisms such as lock screens, BitLockers, BIOS lock, passwords, fingerprint/biometry scanners, PINs, or any other safety measures.

 

Therefore, this topic is being locked.
