Rather than replace the HDD with a SSD ,I would like to replace the 16GB mSATA SSD in my computer  and use it for my system , OS and boot drive .  Can that slot  accomodate a 250GB mSATA SSD  and can the computer boot from this ?

I decided to go the traditional route of replacing the HDD with 250GB SSD. Easier to install and no potential boot problems .

I did find that windows 10 broke Express Cache .  I removed all evidence of it and then repurposed the 16GB sandisk SSD as a small storage medium . It works well . I can't check bootability because 16GB is too small for windows.  When I feel adventurous I might try to install Linux in that space.

@sportflyer,

Maybe :Crying:

1st read   2nd read  (as the unit is basically a laptop AIO)  3rd read (the 16GB SSD is a disc cache)
