Memory replacement I replace memory two slots. The other two slots are behind power supply. I assume I have to remove power supply.  Another question the slots behind power supply have memory. System info only shows 16 ram  What seems the problem before removing power supply

See the remove and replace videos for your desktop PC at the link below.

Select System memory to see how memory replacement should be done.

There are four DDR3 DIMM slots on the Kali motherboard. they are located to the right of the processor. There is no need to remove the PSU to upgrade the installed memory. See the image below.

thanks but did not answer my question. What about memory behind power supply

HP Recommended

You are mistakenly seeing something near the power supply that is not memory and thinking that it is.

The installed Memory is where the image shows the slots on the image I provided of the motherboard in my previous post.

Memory can also be on a video card.

That's it.

The picture of motherbard is incorrect for my pc. The memory slot (2) are closer to hard drives and two slots are near power supply.

How about taking a digital photo of the motherboard and posting it here.

That way we will be on the same page, figuratively speaking.

as the pictures show there are two locations for ram. Behind power supply (2 banks)and to the left of power supply ( 2 banks

Why not take a picture that shows the whole motherboard?

Is it a Kali motherboard?  There should be an MS- number on it.

That would help.

I have never heard of or seen a motherboard's memory module slots as you have described them.

take a picture of motherboard would require removing everything in front of it. Bottom line I was correct on telling where the memory slots are located.
