Product: HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1134

Sales was unable to help, but I am looking to install a video card into my "HP ENVY TE01-1134" desktop (Product ID: 13Z31AA#ABA).  I'm just looking for a basic video card so I can utilize a 2nd monitor.  I was hoping to verify if a GeForce GT 1030 would be viable without any additional work.

If you want to replace/add a graphics card, there are a few things you need to check

You have to check the manufacturers data, for the chosen model , Dimensions, power requirements, and additional pci connectors required >see @old_geekster 's kb

for the graphics card, I often recommend the Asus site with filter options

exemple 500w
