hi, to speed up the PC, I thought of replacing the classic HDD disk with a Samsung 860 Evo SSD but the PC will freeze at startup and won't even allow me access to the BIOS: by pressing F10 the system displays a screen with the message "Press the ESC key for Startup" written down and stops It appears that the PC's BIOS has a lock that does not allow a different disk to boot. But it seems to me impossible that a modern PC has such limitations. How can I solve it?

In your description you stated that you "thought of replacing the classic HDD disk with a Samsung 860 Evo SSD", but you go on to describe a condition where your PC becomes unresponsive. Would you mind explaining that? The statement is somewhat contradictory in its terms.
Did you happen to put an admin password on your BIOS?
That would lock a non administrator user out of making any changes to the BIOS
If your motherboard is a Lubin, as I see in the HP documentation for the Pavilion 570-p000 series, it has an M.2 slot with an M key. The M key means compatibility with M.2 PCIe x4 SATA 2280 SSD products. Th will give you another option.
I am unable to locate information on Pavilion 570-p028nl.
The HP reference material I use to peruse HP product range, sees only Pavilion 570-p028nf, 570-p028ng and 570-p028d in the series. They have 1NJ17EA, 2CW33EX and 28F26AA as their respective product numbers. You should be able to see the product number in the BIOS and stat the rear of the PC.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Sorry, I wrote badly: I wanted to say that I have already replaced.
No password is configured in the bios and I was not asked for it.
Pressing F10 the system stops at the screen showing the characteristics of the PC and it will show "setup" at the bottom right corner.
The product numbers is 2CY15EA and the model is 570-p078nl (it was badly read unfortunately)
I saw that there is a slot for M2, but I would simply like to replace the current hard disk with an SSD as I did on other PCs.
Thank you very much
Manuel

Can you revert back to the original configuration and see if it works? If so, and unless there's something else missing, then you might be in the same boat as the chaps in the above and below threads:

Thanks for reply!
The situation is identical to that of the links you sent me. The problem stems from the fact that I didn't update anything when switching from classic hdd to SSD. The Bios is at version F.20
