Good news: you can upgrade your RAM up to 2 x16GB of RAM: HP - Compaq Pavilion 27-xa0040 All-in-One | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com.
The product specifications of your AIO indeed says that "DDR4-2666 SDRAM" is supported: HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-xa0040 Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support, however, your HP Diamaster (SSID: 84EE) motherboard specs contradicts this and says that it will only support "up to PC4-19200 (DDR4-2400)" RAM: HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Diamaster | HP® Customer Support.
I would 'stick' with the DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz RAM, though.

I answer the question here 16 or 32gb
See if you need 32gb of ram, not needed in most uses
and see
How to identify what is slowing down the computer
so you could save a little money for something else
then, since you normally already have an 8 gb module, try adding the same module to increase to 16 gb!
