That should work fine, just do not get the K or the S version of the i7-3700
I have read that the Xeon 1240 V2 is equivalent to the i7-3700 but it does not have any graphics built in.

Only the CPUs listed here will work
Do not try any of the low power intel "s" processors and do not try any of the low voltage memory sticks or you will damage the memory and possibly the motherboard
What GPU do you have? If you can find a lower profile newer model GPU that works in a 320 watt supply that can make a bigger improvement than any CPU in my opinion
