I'm returning my system to Costco and want to factory reset the system, so it's just like it was when I received it last week.  I had very few personal files but have installed quite a few apps etc so want to factory reset.  Finding it hard to find instructions for Windows 11.   Thank you.

Unfortunately, a Factory Reset only reformats the drive -- erasing the files and folders.  They are still present on the drive and anyone with a half-decent data recovery app would be able to recover them.

 

If you are serious about this, then read this tutorial I wrote -- it is for laptops but the process is the same for desktops:
