HP Desktop - M01-F0027na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Desktop - M01-FR0027na that has a corrupt bios.

The PC tired to rebuild the bios itself but failed and instructed i downloaded the bio update file from HP.

I put in the serial number of the computer. Found the correct version of the bios i needed. (HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 8643) and downloaded the file sp135567.exe. It runs a utlity to extract but nothing opens afterwards. I check the extracted root C:\SWSetup\SP135567 and found only one file inside 08643F41.exe

if i try to manually run this file(in administrator) nothing happens.

I have also downloaded this file on multiple computers and am having the same result.

I have made HP BIOS update USB sticks in the past so this one has stumped me.

but I just tested this same file with a completely different model, under windows 11
I downloaded the file, launch the program, indication of extraction ..
After waiting a few seconds, I have this image

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried the link you specified, but after trying this program on multiple machines, it still refuses to open.

You did mention a different model? could you provide a link for us to try?
