After purchasing this computer I quickly realized that 128GB on C: was way to little for my needs.  After fruitlessly searching gthe web for sevaral days I found this site that was very helpful. THANKS.  However I thought that some additional explanations and pictures would be helpful, so here we go:

 

1. Step one place the Envy 27 in the packing material it was shipped in.  (This provides a stable work surface).

 

2. Remoce the bottom plate.

The bottom plate is fastened with nine screws.  Six of these are hidden by the paster-on foot-padse

At the end I hold up the plate and you can see where the jokes are. There's also a 5th little screw.
