I recently had to re-Install Windows to my PC because for an Odd reason, Windows got corrupted
anything relating to settings Control pannel Bluetooth windows defender Firewall etc... were all corrupted: whenever i try to access any of them it would say "Class Not Registered" , but i could still play online games such as Destiny 2, Multiversus, and use Oculus software to run my quest 2 in using Link cable.
The only Option that i had to getting my settings back was to re-install windows after trying many suggestions online and ending up in failure.
After a clean re-installing i can now access all system settings but I cannot play any games: Destiny 2 error "unreadable game content, Multiversus crashes 3 seconds after getting on game, Oculus software wont even install, as well as many other games. Ive been trying for 4 days endlessly looking up each game and checking online soltuions but none of them work
Now i believe that the problem is in the system and isn't the games since none of the online games are working remotely and Oculus software wont even install
My D drive/disk can no longer be seen in the file explorer and seems to have been disabled somehow.
I've run Hard drive and SSD test and all returned with Passed result.
I've attempted to Run Windows Memory Diagnostics but for some reason i cannot see MemoryDiagnostics-Results in the Even Viewer I plan to retest tonight.
I've tried running DISM with no negative result
I've tried sfc/scannow and there was a corrupted file which was resolved and ran it again and the scan passed with no issues
Please if you can Help i would be very happy, its an expensive PC and losing it would be devastating

I have Found the issue,
Ive been getting BSoD alot and with it came a whole load of issues
Both Windows memory diagnostics and Hp Memory Test were absolute useless
After downloading and running memtest86 i found out the problem was indeed my RAM
I had 4 16gb RAM and either one or all were faulty to the point where i kept getting BSoD alot and i FIxed it
I do not reccomend doing what im about to say unless You absolutely do not have any other choice
I Folded my RAM sticks in Aluminum Foil 6x or 6wraps around in one large sheet There is a youtube tutorial
I preheated the Oven at 390Degrees F and let it sit in the OVen for 2min then
heated the OVen again to 435Degrees F and baked them again for another 2min and and straight away pulled them out and let them cool for an entire day before reinserting them.
AGAIN DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS UNLESS THERE ARE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVES TO FIXING THE RAM.
also run Multiple Memory diagnostic tools before assuming its RAM issue ie..Windows memory diagnostics memtest86 and Hp memory test. and be Careful.

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
You already ran: sfc/ scannow, and I assume: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth as well.
If you haven't used the freeware program CCleaner, download it from here ("Free Download"): Download CCleaner | Clean, optimize & tune up your PC, free!, and run/start the "Health Check". The program will analyze all the accumulated junk files on your PC, and then click on "Make it better". Then go the the "Registry" tab, and click on "Scan for Issues". Then click on "Review selected Issues", and click "No" on the: "Do you want to back up the registry" message. Then click on "Fix All Selected Issues", then click on Close.
Next, let's try to eliminate the possibility of a lurking computer virus:
If you have an anti-virus program, perform a thorough scan.
Regardless, (also) perform a Windows Defender Offline scan: How to Run a Microsoft Defender Offline Scan in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com).
Speaking of Windows, perhaps you want to upgrade to Windows 11 version 22H2, since your processor is new enough.

i followed the step for the Destiny 2 game and it did work for 2 gameplays then afterwards the game crashed with Unreadable game content again and now its back to how it was. The game launches then attempts to verify game files but ends up with a warning "Unreadable game content." just like before
I have Formatted Partition Disk 1 to D drive and now i can see the D drive in my file explorer.
Multiversus now does work and i can play it just fine.

I downloaded and performed every cleanup CCleaner has to offer, and it said there were outdated drives and it updated them, However it did something to my Bluetooth, some devices that use to connect to Bluetooth without a problem now cannot connect to Bluetooth properly: Like my speaker and my headphones. I ran Windows Full, Offline, and Update and it could not solve it. I am still not able to Install Oculus software.

please only use the drivers from the product page
CCleaner, should not be used anyhow, there are things to do, and others not to use!
For destiny2, I found other indications which could help, there are several solutions on the net in case of problem
including, file verification (on some platforms)

in the worst case, I would advise you to use the system recovery

For some reason, Deleting Destiny 2 from the Temp files in C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Temp allows me to play my games again but after around 30min i crash and i cant play again unless i repeat the process of deleting Temp files again.
there are updates i cannot seem to install using windows update.
My last resort will be HP Cloud recovery but i don't know if i should hold my breath. I've attempted windows reset and re-installation of windows 5 times and the problems persists.
im ok with not playing 2D games for now but i bought the PC for VR gaming and the making of such games and i cant do either atm

That was a most interesting fix -I'll keep this in mind as a last-ditch effort to salvage a bad stick of RAM!
Btw, the YouTube video I looked at: How to fix dead RAM in the oven! - YouTube, mentioned this RAM baking-restoration process for two minutes at 400° F, and then for 2 minutes at 450° F.

Good to know this is a type of method that has been used with Nvidia chip issues, motherboard baking!
check back with us in a while, it would be nice to know if it works for several months..
