I looked upon answers in Community and ran system tests as suggested. The failure code is :GLGJMS-8B3B19-GXPT7F-60RL03. When I looked up in HP Failure Code decoder- it says "storage". Not sure what to be replaced. Worst part- its All IN ONE computer. Appreciate if anyone has solution. Thanks!

Hello
This is a macro, recorded answer, read the following carefully, and see according to your own problem.
If you have any doubts, ask me, I will try to answer the best
you have an error message, or a problem with the hard drive (or SSD)
this indicates that your hard drive is certainly damaged
Depending on the error, and its condition, it may fail anytime.
maybe it doesn't work anymore
First of all, you can try to recover personal data
Once your data has been saved
You can either follow the following or buy a new hard drive directly!
What I am indicating now is just a rescue option
If it works, it will be temporary, back up your data regularly
depending on the hard drive condition, it may work a good time
but the hard drive may fail permanently
it is mainly in order to be able to use the computer, the time to replace the system disk
be careful because the goal is to erase the hard drive, your unsaved data will be lost
so you have to reinstall the computer completely
There are several methods, depending on the installed windows system and your computer
Try a full reinstall
You can try to help yourself with this tutorial (sorry not fully translated)
que faire en cas d' erreur / échec dst du disque dur - HP Support Community - 7338574
Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10, 7)
if you have windows 10 you can use microsoft tool
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10
If you originally had a sata HDD you could possibly install a sata SDD
but this is another topic, if needed you should open another thread
Your computer should be this :
27-a010t PC Product Specifications
Size: 1 TB HDD
Hard Drive Replacement Instructions
You can try several things in order to try to recover your data
You can try a bootable cd / dvd type live cd (linux)
https://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/how-to-retrieve-windows-files-using-a-linux-live-cd/
you can try removing the hard drive, in order to connect it to another computer internally, or with a usb adapter!
https://www.muo.com/tag/connect-get-data-off-hard-drive/
If your disk is not completely out of order, this gives you a small chance

My PC doesn't even reach to Recovery menu and stuck on "Please Wait" when I try to do that. I'm not worried about the data now since I don't keep it on hard drive anymore. This has happened last year. But- at least I was format/reinstall from scratch.

It can be difficult, if you don't feel able to do it, go to a professional
I obviously replied before editing/modifying your message.
You must read carefully, what is indicated
The recovery option, which can be a failure, should only be done with external media, if you cannot create the media, because you have not already done so, see the other options
But little chance of success, in many cases the HDD must be replaced..
Even if it has been a success for many users to whom I have proposed this

Is that error code specifically for hard disk? My concern is: I spend dollars on new hard disk and it still doesn’t work. I’ll be in no man’s land. I’ve one external USB hard disk- anything I can try with that? Like I said, I don’t care about the data on drive.

This message means that Windows has become corrupted -- so much so, that it can no longer boot. MS puts up this message to tell you that Windows will repair itself -- but in my experience of having seen this dozens of times over the years, it has NEVER been able to make those repairs. So it keeps rebooting and redisplaying this again and again -- until you get disgusted and turn off the PC!
This problem is nearly impossible to fix -- from the standpoint of making repairs and leaving your stuff intact. Some steps for trying this are listed below, but they are very hard to do and if they do not work, you are faced with doing a complete Windows reinstallation to get your PC back working again.
And if that is the case, you need to come back here and tell us what failed so we can provide instructions for things you can to do retrieve some data from your drive before you do a complete reinstallation.
----------
First thing you need to do is see if you can restart in Safe mode -- by doing these steps: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2304-boot-into-safe-mode-windows-10-a.html
If you don't know how to start using Advanced Startup Options, then read this: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-boot-advanced-startup-options-windows-10-a.html
Then, follow these steps to reset Windows Update: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/24742-reset-windows-update-windows-10-a.html
If these work, when you finally reboot, you should then be able to login to a working Windows desktop.
If these don't work, you would have to resort to reinstalling Windows from scratch.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Yes, as mentioned above, your hard drive is down.
You have no choice but to try the solution explained
namely a new installation of windows, in some cases, this allows you to use the computer for a while longer
But it may not work
Either way, you'll need to replace the hard drive
If you have already backed up your data, your external disk will not be of any use to you here

I replaced the hard disk. The OS installation wasn’t easy:
- Downloaded Windows 10 ISO to USB
- After 1st failure installation attempt, did partioning manually from command prompt.
- Still failed upon restart. Had to convert disk to GPT format
- Still failed at “installing updates”. Unplugged USB drive
- Voila! Finally I’ve my PC on with new Windows10.
