Via Windows Update, you can get a free upgrade to Windows 8.1, which will be supported until January 2023.

B: Since you were running Windows 10, you were granted a "digital entitlement" to reinstall Windows 10, at any time, at no cost, onto the same computer.

See: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

for details on how to download, and how to install "bootable" installation media.

When installing, you will be prompted to enter the 25-character product-key.

Click "I do not have one", to let the installation complete.

When Windows 10 connects to the Internet, your entitlement will be leveraged, and Windows will "activate".

Then, run Windows Update, to upgrade from the newly-installed "Fall 2017 Creators Update" to the most-current set of security-updates.
