Urgent helpMy father has a HP Envy x360 15cn100CTO. It came with a Intel Optane Memory M10 + 1TB HDD configuration on windows 10.
As his laptop started to run slow, I made my father buy another SSD.
Without knowing how Intel Optane Memory M10 worked, I told him to yank it out and replace it with the SSD. I then made him do a clean install of Windows 11.
I didn't instruct him to take any external backup of the data.
Now that he wants his data back, I told him to simply put the Intel Optane Memory M10 back into the laptop instead of the SSD. It shows "No boot drive".
I then told him to go into BIOS setup and followed the guides listed below:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006437/technologies.html
https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-Optane-Memory/Issues-swapping-Optane-SSD-for-NVME/td-p/1357823
https://superuser.com/questions/1760315/remove-unused-optane-drive-laptop-will-not-boot
They were of no help because they did not have the options listed (no ability to create RAID volume from BIOS, no "SATA mode", no "INTEL RST", no "AHCI")
Please help my dad recover his data. We live in different countries and he is nearly 63. I told him to do all this via videocalls and now he is panciking.
