Smart hard disk error 301

Hello,

 I have been facing an issue while booting up the laptop and getting a Smart hard disk 301 error message, I tried rebooting the laptop and still got the same error. I did the diagnostic test (long disk self test) and failed, then i got the failure ID.

Failure ID:GGFQ7K-000C7R-GXGG3G-61AC03

Hard Drive/SSD 1 

HDD 1 Temperature: 40 degrees Celsius

is it because of the temperature or maybe something else went wrong and how to prevent this from happening again.
