So will the problem be resolved I replace my hard disk or my CMOS battery? How do I know?

Hi

I don't know.

A CMOS/RTC battery costs a coupla quid (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00O4YXFAA?tag=duckduckgo-brave-uk-21&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1) or less.

 

So when you open up the PC you can replace the battery and the HDD at the same time.

So how about I replace the CMOS battery first and see if it works? If it doesn’t,I’ll switch to the HDD
