Any help would be grateful. I installed a new ssd to add more storage and had a cloning software move everything over to the new ssd not realizing it copied everything over and formatted the old ssd. Now I I no longer have a recovery file so I can’t even factory reset my pc to start fresh. If I open disk management I can see a partition file 746MB that says recovery winre.wim on the old ssd. But my pc won’t even recognize it’s there and even with command prompt reagentc /enable it still remained disabled. Basically my computer can never be reset or have a recovery file.

Then you'll have to clean install W11, so you can use your PC again and install the drivers and software from the support page.
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
Once you get things up and running again there are free system imaging software tools you can use to make a system image and a bootable USB recovery drive to access the system image.
I use Macrium reflect for that, but it is not free anymore like it used to be.
There is a 20 day trial.

Hi:
See if your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility to make a bootable USB recovery drive to factory reset the hard drive if necessary.

Link to the recovery tool software...You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

I did exactly as the video showed downloaded the recovery tool into a usb and it goes all the way through like it’s working and at the end when it restarts the computer to start the process it blue screens and says need repairs like it did nothing and the only option I have now is to keep start the process over with the same results. Now my pc is completely unusable.

I found the issue. It kept reverting back to the usb but it was suppose to boot from the C: drive to finish the recovery. Once I went to bios and changed the computer to boot from the C: drive it went into the final faze of recovery and now I’m back to as if I first opened my pc and started windows 11. Thanks again for your help. I’ll be sure to save the usb in a safe place if this ever happens again.
