@GabTheScripter -- when  i click the download vision iso it does nothing

Click on the hyperlink with the second (usually the right-side) mouse-button, and choose "Save As" or "Save Target", to download the ISO into a folder on your disk-drive.

After the download completes, click on the filename with the second mouse-button, and select the "burn" option.

Did the computer really boot from the CD/DVD ?

Did you observe lots of activity on the CD/DVD while Windows was loading?

(Flashing lamp on the front panel of the CD/DVD? Lots of noise as the media was spinning?)

Did it boot from the CD/DVD to the point where you could choose between "repair" and "install" ?

If not, then I think that you did NOT boot from the CD/DVD.

Instead, your computer booted from the disk-drive, and then got the same error-message as you repeatedly have seen.

When you booted your computer, did you see a message like "Press ENTER now to boot from CD"?

Did you follow that instruction?  If not, the boot process reverted to reading from the disk-drive.

To repeat, as soon as you select the CD/DVD device, look at the screen.

You should see the message "Press the ENTER key to continue booting from the CD/DVD" (or some similar message).

You NEED to be quick to press ENTER, to continue booting from the CD/DVD.

If you are too slow, the computer will boot from your disk-drive, and will launch that "repair" process, as you have observed.

The Critical Process Died error is a blue screen of death (BSOD) error, that occurs due to corrupt system files, specific Windows updates, faulty program/application or driver, etc. Due to this BSOD error, the Windows may crash, and may lead to a total data loss situation. However, this issue can be fixed, to fix the issue you can try the below methods:

1. Update system drivers
2. Perform a clean boot
3. Run SFC command
4. Run DISM to repair corrupted system image
5. Uninstall windows update
6. Uninstall 3rd party software
7. Uninstall drivers
8. Run system restore
9. Reset PC
10. Reinstall Windows

Further, you can also check the below blog for detailed methods to fix the issue:

Hope it helps!

@GabTheScripter -- press the "down-arrow" on your keyboard, to move the orange-coloured highlighting to the device in the "CD-ROM" group, and then press ENTER.

What happens, or does not happen, when you do so?

Do you see a message like "press Enter within 5 seconds to continue to boot from CD" ?

If so, press Enter.

If you do not press Enter, your computer will boot from the disk-drive.
