@j-c123 -- how many days ago did you install Windows 11?  If only a few days, you can "revert" to Windows 10.  Microsoft will support Windows 10 until October 2025.  At that time, purchase a computer with Windows 11 pre-installed.

It was probably a week ago... it won't give me enough time to do anything it just keeps going to lock screen within 5-6 seconds of logging in

@j-c123 -- create a new file, on a USB memory-stick, and name it "TIMEOUT.REG":

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"ScreenSaveTimeOut"="2100"

Be sure to "Save As" with the filetype of "REG", not "TXT".

Connect the USB memory-stick to your computer.

Restart your computer.

As soon as you can use the Windows Desktop, open the folder for the USB memory-stick.

Double-click on the above file to execute it.

It will set the "screen-lock" to 2100 seconds (35 minutes).

As soon as Windows "locks", shutdown Windows, and then restart.

Does it still "lock" after a few seconds, or after 35 minutes of "inactivity" ?
