windows XP and ahci/sata driver

A different approach: install a "virtual-machine" application, such as VMWARE, and define a virtual machine, and install Windows XP into that virtual machine.

Windows 10 will provide the "native" support for the SATA disk-drive(s), and VMWARE will provide a generic "virtual disk-drive" to XP.

Virtual machines work fine on my pc, already tried it... but there are plenty of games that in the year from 2000 to 2006 used the protection called StarForce, as a manovre to avoid piracy (and between those games there is one in particular that is my favorite of all time, and i cant miss it at all)...it is a dead protection system now, though.

Well, all those game are compatible only with xp, and are impossible to launch on windows after the XP. if you try to install them on newst O.S., ieven if you got original disc of the game, it will crash your pc and you must reformat it. No way to escape this... I've also tried to launch these games on virtual machine, but it doesnt recognize it as an autentical Operative system, and doesnt work.

Its cause of it that i need a partition with authentic xp. Im trying everything...
