I inserted a DVD into my computer last night to watch a movie and must not have put it in place good enough.  I noticed play back did not start so I opened my Disk Drive and the DVD had fallen off and is now stuck in my computer.   I tried unplugging it and gently shaking the DVD loose but that did not work.  How can I take it apart enough to remove the stuck disk????  I do not want to damage the computer or the disk.  HELP!!

Thanks to you tube I figured out to open the back enough to gently remove the CD without doing damage to the PC or the Disc.  Thank Goodness 🙂

To better help you we would need the exact model number or product number of your laptop/desktop???

I am not at home, but will get this information this evening.  I found the phone number to tech support on an old post as it appears I am not the first one to have this issue.

Thank you.
