Hi there @Aitch22,

Welcome back to the HP Support Forums!  I understand that you are looking for help with facial recognition in Windows 10, that no longer works. I am happy to give you a hand with this.

Please post the full product number and operating system in use on your computer. See the following, if you need help with that information.  HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number, Serial Number or Product Number?

Are you able to get the webcam on your system to work in any way? If not then please check out: HP PCs - Webcam Troubleshooting (Windows 10, 😎.

If the issue is the "security software" and If you are/were using Windows Hello, you should try contacting  Microsoft Support - support.microsoft.com, over this issue.

Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.

Malygris1,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I have solved the problem, I downloaded an  Anti Virus programe before and then the problem started, so I deleted this particular programe, and it was back to normal.

By the way the Anti Virus was Avira so this may help if there are any problems that prop up again.

 Regards,

 Harry
