Hello,

I have an HP All-in-One Desktop 24-CB0xxx

Could you please advise any ways I can find my Microsoft Product Key.

I understand it can be done from Command prompt. (could provide the command line in one single line of text so as to mitigate me mis-typing)

If there are any other ways to find it please advise.

Kind Regards

Hello @ppeetteerr ,

Welcome to the HP community.

This is just a Peer-to-peer community forum and not HP Support. We are all just Volunteers.

A quick community search for keywords product key finds >this<

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact the HP Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards

Hi, @ppeetteerr

If your PC came with Windows from HP, the product key is encrypted in the PC's BIOS.

You don't need the product key to reinstall Windows.

If you want to view the Windows product key, the easiest way I know of to do that is to install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store.

ShowKeyPlus - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

It will show you the installed product key, the OEM product key and the version of Windows the key is good for.

W10 keys are good for W11 and visa versa.
