HP EliteDisplay E240C
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We are using a HP Pavillon desktop (PC-570 with windows 10 home 64 bits) with a HP EliteDisplay E240C.

This monitor has an integrated webcam. When using the CyberLink YouCam, we get a pop-up screen with the

following text: "warning. No webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure that it is turned on".

The latest driver for this monitor is installed. Next to that the webcam be fond in the device manager – under sound/video and game controllers and is turnd on.

What else can we do?

That would indicate a problem with the webcam itself, or its connection to the motherboard.  You should send your pc into HP (if you still have a warrenty), or find a local repair shop.

The display driver and webcam driver are two different things.  Your best bet it to update your webcam drivers via device manager.  You can also0 find drivers on the HP support page for your product.

Okay, that's clear.

But, our mistake, we cannnot see the integrated webcam in the device manager. This should be or not?? (maybe a stupid question)

We see audio equipment etc. and the CyberLink WebCam Virtual Driver 7.0...just checked and the latest drivers are installed.
