Web Cam

HP-23-r110 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Cannot find any info on how to get the built in web cam to work. No owners manuel came with unit. Haven't been able to find any info on web site as what we need to do to get web cam to work. Never dealt with one before so we are lost. Does HP no longer include a owners manuel for dummies like us? Thanks for any help

I have checked web sites and even talked to a HP supervisor who said one of their departments could solve MY problem for $49. All i want is an owners manual which will explain how to get the all ready BUILT IN web cam to work. I figure by it being built in,  everything it needs to work should be there also, correct? My wife and I simply just don't know what we need to do to operate it. I have a Kia Soul and it has a manual which lists all its bells and whistles and what you need to do to make each work. HP support has been no help at all, just want the $49 to solve my question.  I am about ready to say forget the web cam.

Hi @sidhut,

 

You requested the User Guide - Windows 10, but this will not give instruction on Windows 10 fix or update.  Windows 10 is a Microsoft Program that HP has no control over.  Please follow the step from the document I sent on last post.

I have followed your steps in the last document and no where hsve i seen any reference to a built in web cam. They talk of an external web cam not a built in one by hp. in none of the suggested info is there any info or procedures to get the cam to work. It dosen't even tell you how to turn it on, much less how it functions.
