Recently, my HP ENVY4500 printer has stopped printing. It will scan and print fine, but cannot be activated online to print my documents, I have entered the relevant WiFi codes but it fails to go online. HELP, please?

@sandraedwards, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help resolve the issue where your HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer scans but won't go online to print, even after entering Wi-Fi credentials. This is a common issue, especially after Windows 11 updates.
Restart All Devices
- Turn off your printer, computer, and router.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Turn them back on in this order: router → printer → computer.
Check Printer Wi-Fi Connection
- On the printer, press the Wireless button to check the status.
- Solid blue light = connected.
- Blinking or off = not connected.
- If not connected:
- On the printer control panel, go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Settings.
- Then re-run the Wireless Setup Wizard to reconnect to your Wi-Fi.
Remove and Reinstall Printer on Windows 11
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY 4500 and click Remove device.
- Then, reinstall the printer using the HP Smart App or from 123.hp.com.
Check for Windows Updates
- Open Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.
- Restart your PC after updates.
Download Latest Drivers
- Visit HP Software and Drivers and search for HP ENVY 4500.
- Download and install the latest Full Feature Software and Drivers for Windows 11.
Avoid Guest or Public Networks
- Ensure your printer and PC are on the same private Wi-Fi network.
- Avoid connecting to networks like DIRECT-xx-HP or public hotspots.
