Hi I have a new HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-1010na which I understand has 4K capability but will not display to my HPv28 monitor in 4K mode. On investigation it seems that the PC's HDMI adapter is version 1.4B so will not output 4K at 60HZ which I am assuming is why the 4k is not operable. On further investigation it seems there are USB=C to 4K 60HZ adapters available that could solves this problem but need the USB-C port to be USB-C ALT mode enabled in order to output to a display. Please can you advise whether the USB-C port on this PC has this capability or is there another solution to achieve 4K display?
Many Thanks
Shaun

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c06638240
It only has (1) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port (5 Gbps data transfer) port at its front. This port does not support Alt mode
Regards.
