HP Pavilion Wave Desktop PC

Hello,

im having a little trouble with my HP Pavilion Wave Desktop PC.  Every time I power on my computer the monitor screen remains black and then reads “HDMI is inactive” and that “Input Signal Not Found”,  “Check video cable and video source”.  Wondering if anyone might know how to solve this problem?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

@kmano,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Do you get display on the monitor if you disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable?
  • Have you checked the monitor and the HDMI cable on a different device?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

While you respond to that, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver on the computer from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
