You need to change the overscan setting to hdmi. Then you can choose your hz.

Are asking how to do this with the Xbox Series X? 😃

Hi,

No, i'm referring to PS5 if is it possible

Ah okay, apologies,  I’m not sure how to do it on the PlayStation.

on Xbox I went into the TV/Display settings and turned off the auto detection for the HDMI, then set the resolution/Hz manually. It may be possible the same way.

I have just purchased a 4K hdmi emulator from Amazon that is supposed to fix this and trick the ps5 into thinking the monitor supports 120hz on the ps5. It is meant to be delivered on Monday the 8th or March so I’ll update when it comes if it works properly or not.

Hey Dylan

I've bought a Emulator too and I haven't figured out how to get it working yet, it just gives me a message saying 'Input Signal Out Of Range'. I have the EVanlak emulator, if you manage to get it working please let me know

Thanks

You need this emulator, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pass-Through-Emulator-splitters-Switches-Extenders/dp/B072JC9443/ref=mp_s_a...

You then need to turn hdcp off on ps5 (settings -> system -> hdmi)

you also need to set your resolution to 1080p when it’s connected to your tv rather than monitor

then should be good!
