HP 27f monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to contact HP has certainly been an exercise in frustration and wasted time.  Although I bought this monitor several days less than a year ago, they claim the warranty ended 3 months ago.

Here's the problem.  I have two of these.  One of these will go into sleep mode when the computer is shut down and display the amber light.  The other continuously cycles when the computer is shut off, and rotates between the message "Input signal not found.  Check the video cables.  Display going to sleep."  The problem is it doesn't go to sleep and then displays a little white box in the bottom right corner of the screen with 4 icons corresponding to the buttons.  And then this cycle keeps repeating.

Also, the down arrow in the OSD does not work, only the up arrow.

With the difficulty of even finding monitor support on line, I'm wondering if hp is just slapping their name on monitors by someone else and not really interested in the monitor business?  Lesson learned for next time I buy a monitor.
