@AndersHolmgren, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

Hello! I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue, but don’t worry, we’ll get it sorted. To better assist you, could you let me know how you’re connecting the monitor? Are you using HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, or another type of connection? Also, which device are you using the monitor with—could you provide the product name or number of the unit you're trying to connect? This will help me guide you through the troubleshooting process more effectively.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm using a VGA cable to my HP monitor. And it's the genuine HP mouse with the genuine HP keyboard with the genuine HP monitor and it's the genuine HP PC as well. I tried a different graphics card and still nothing, a different VGA cable and still nothing and tried with the DVI cable and still doesn't work. And no matter how many times I restart the computer or monitor it still doesn't work right. My HP PC has Windows 7 Professional and I cannot upgrade the PC if I can't see anything on my monitor. It was working fine before, but now it refuses to work. The PC powers on but the monitor does not.  Monitor: HP L2245WG. Computer: HP Pavilion P6-2127C. Keyboard: HP KB-0316 USB keyboard. Mouse: HP 417441-001 optical mouse.
